My friends and I went to visit a cemetery last weekend. As we walked
among the graves, we couldn’t help but read the epitaphs on the
tombstones. Some were simple and heartfelt, while others were more
elaborate and poetic. It was a reminder that every life has a story to
tell, even after death. After paying our respects to the deceased, we
sat down on a bench to rest. As we chatted, we lambasted the city for
not maintaining the cemetery properly. The overgrown grass and broken
tombstones were not a fitting tribute to those who had passed away. We
hoped that our criticism would encourage the city to take better care
of this sacred place.
